As a physical therapist for over 23 years, she loves to help clients achieve their wellness and fertility goals. Leanne started in the fertility space with the birth and fertility journey of her 2 children after age 40. She has been successful in natural unassisted conception and fertility assisted methods by implementing nutrition, exercise, and stress management into her daily life. She believes that fertility health encompasses so many aspects that are not typically addressed when women are trying to conceive and loves to dive in with her clients to optimize their best chances for a healthy pregnancy. She believes that regardless of the pathway, success is based on trusting and optimizing our health and taking an active role in the journey. I am a doctor of physical therapy, certified Mercier Therapist with a fertility specialty, and am also Reiki certified. I waited later in life to have my son. (I conceived and gave birth at 41 years old). Even though I did not have fertility struggles, I did contemplate the idea of attempting a medically assisted pregnancy because of my age and because I was told that was my best shot at getting pregnant. Something within me told me that it was not how I wanted to treat my body – I did not feel comfortable with interfering with what God may have in store for me, nor did I like the idea of injecting myself with all of the medications and biosynthetic hormones, so I left it up to fate. And low and behold, I conceived naturally. I know the road for many women may not be as smooth. I also know that many women do not feel that they have a choice if they want to have children. I want to help women explore their options and not feel that they are backed into a medically induced corner. I do believe that there are circumstances that do require medically assisted interventions, and also want to support the women that do make that a part of their fertility journey. I use my 16 plus years of experience as a physical therapist to help women achieve their goals to becoming a mother and to optimize their health in a way that does not feel overly restricting or hard work. I truly believe that healthy habits and easy lifestyle changes can make a great impact on one’s happiness mentally and physically.
